Is there empty space outside the universe?

The mind-blowing thing with this is how can we imagine an end to emptiness. The universe can not be contained in a wall (although Donald Trump would probably disagree) or a giant orb. There has to be infinite space. Five hundred trillion light years outside our universe there may be another. There may be trillions (or infinite universes). It in almost certain with infinity. Unfortunately, this is way beyond any science mankind will every know. As a species we know beginnings and ends. We can never evolve an understanding of infinity
